SEO review

How your current website shows up on Google

A basic check of newtechplumbingsolutions.com: all six pages, looked at the way phones and Google see them, plus Google’s Lighthouse speed test. It uses only what anyone can see from outside. No logins.

Checked September 13, 2026

The short version

Google can read your site, but the pages don’t tell it what you do or where you do it, and the homepage is slow on phones. None of it is hard to fix, and the new site handles every item below.

  • Speed on phones54Needs work
  • Accessibility58Needs work
  • Best practices93Good
  • SEO basics92Good

Homepage, tested as a phone would load it. Scores are out of 100 and move a few points between runs. The SEO basics score only checks that Google can read the page, not whether the page says what you do or where. That’s why it’s high while the issues below are real.

What’s working

Worth keeping, and the new site keeps all of it.

  • Google can read every page. Nothing is blocked from search.
  • The same phone number, 480-326-3307, is on all six pages.
  • The site is secure (https), and the server answers quickly, in about 0.4 seconds.
  • Your license number (ROC #221737) is on the site.
  • Water heater prices are published, which answers the first question most callers have.

What’s holding it back

10 issues, most important first. Each one says what we found, why it matters, and what the new site does about it.

Fix first3 issues

No page title mentions Mesa or any city

What we found

  • All six page titles leave out where you work. Two are just “Tankless” and “Water Softeners”.
  • Newtech Plumbing Water Heaters
  • Water Heater Installation by Newtech Plumbing
  • Tankless
  • Water Softeners
  • Newtech Plumbing Solutions Services
  • Contact Newtech Plumbing Solutions

Why it matters

The title is the blue link people click in Google results, and one of the strongest clues Google uses to match a page to a search like “water heater replacement Mesa”.

On the new site

Every page title names the service and the area, like “Water Heater Replacement in Mesa, AZ | Newtech Plumbing”.

The homepage is slow on phones

What we found

  • The main image takes 9.4 seconds to appear in Google’s phone test. Google counts under 2.5 seconds as good.
  • The page weighs 4.1 MB, mostly photos. Lighthouse estimates the photos could be about 2.5 MB smaller.
  • The layout jumps while it loads (a shift score of 0.31, where good is under 0.1), so a tap can land on the wrong thing.

Why it matters

Most people looking for a plumber are on a phone, and many give up on a page that hasn’t loaded in a few seconds. Google also weighs page speed when ranking.

On the new site

Photos are sized and compressed for phones, and every part of the page holds its place while it loads.

No analytics or call tracking

What we found

  • No Google Analytics, Tag Manager, ad pixel or call tracking on any of the six pages. The only tracking is GoDaddy’s own.

Why it matters

Without it, nobody can say how many calls the website brings in, which searches they came from, or whether ads would pay for themselves.

On the new site

Google Analytics and call tracking go in on day one, so every call and form request has a source.

Worth fixing4 issues

Details don’t match from page to page

What we found

  • Reply time: “within 3 hours” on the Contact page, but “within 48-72 hours” on the Water Softeners and Services pages.
  • The homepage says “Price applies for city of Mesa only” and also promises “no extra trip or mileage charges”.
  • The homepage says 15 years in the industry, which may be out of date: BBB lists the business as starting in 2006.
  • Ahwatukee is spelled “Awatukee” in the service-area list on three pages.
  • The Contact page’s list of cities is shorter than the homepage’s.

Why it matters

Google compares your details across your site and listings, and customers notice too. Mixed messages cost trust, and a misspelled city won’t match searches for it.

On the new site

Prices, hours, cities and promises are written once and shared by every page, so they can’t drift apart.

Pages have no main heading

What we found

  • Five of the six pages have no main heading (an H1). The one that does, Contact, uses it for “Send A Message”.

Why it matters

The main heading tells Google, and people using screen readers, what a page is about.

On the new site

One clear main heading per page that says what it covers, like “Water heater replacement in Mesa”.

Search result descriptions are missing or repeated

What we found

  • Tankless and Water Softeners have none, so Google makes one up from the page.
  • The homepage and the Water Heaters page share the same one.
  • The Services page’s description misspells the name as “Newtech Plumning Solutions”.

Why it matters

The description is the gray text under your link in Google. It’s your pitch for the click.

On the new site

Each page gets its own description, written to earn the click.

Google has to guess your business details

What we found

  • No page includes your business details in the format Google reads directly (structured data): name, phone, hours, service area and license.

Why it matters

It helps Google tie the site to your map listing and show your details correctly in results.

On the new site

Built into every page. The preview pages already include it.

Smaller fixes3 issues

Photos have no descriptions

What we found

  • 6 of the 60 images across the six pages have a text description (alt text): one per page.

Why it matters

Google can’t see photos. The description is how it knows a picture shows a water heater install, and screen readers read it aloud.

On the new site

Every photo gets a short, plain description.

Phones can’t zoom in

What we found

  • Phones get a separate mobile version with pinch-to-zoom turned off. The homepage scores 58 out of 100 on Google’s accessibility check.

Why it matters

Customers who need bigger text can’t enlarge it, and it’s one of the things pulling the accessibility score down.

On the new site

One site that fits every screen, with zoom left on. Option A of the preview scores 100 on the same check.

newtechplumbing.com doesn’t load

What we found

  • Typing newtechplumbing.com shows a Google error page (404), and the secure https:// address doesn’t connect at all.

Why it matters

Anyone who types the shorter name reaches nothing, and any links pointing there are wasted.

On the new site

If that domain is yours, point it at your main site so both names work.

The preview, on the same test

Your current homepage next to Option A of the preview, both tested as a phone would load them.

The preview uses sample content and hasn’t been tuned for speed yet. The finished site aims to show its main content in under 2.5 seconds.

What this review doesn’t cover

This is a check of the website only. It doesn’t cover your Google Business Profile (the map listing, where many plumbing calls start), which searches you already show up for, or how you rank against other plumbers nearby. Those need your Google account, so they come later.
